Product Function
The PVC ball valve is a core component in pipeline fluid control systems. It is primarily used to quickly connect or shut off the medium inside the pipeline, and can also be used for simple flow regulation, enabling flexible control of fluid transport. It is a common valve in various ambient-temperature, corrosion-resistant piping systems.
Working Principle
The PVC ball valve operates by rotating an internal spherical ball. The ball has a circular through‑hole at its center. Turning the handle rotates the ball 90°, fully opening or closing the valve:
When the hole is aligned with the pipeline direction, the medium flows freely.
When the hole is perpendicular to the pipeline direction, the medium is completely blocked.
The structure is simple, the opening/closing is quick, and the sealing performance is stable.
Application Range
PVC ball valves are resistant to acids and alkalis, do not rust, and are cost‑effective. They are suitable for many low‑pressure, ambient‑temperature applications, including:
Municipal water supply and drainage
Household water supply
Chemical corrosion‑resistant pipelines
Wastewater treatment
Agricultural irrigation
Food‑grade clean fluid transport
Garden sprinkler systems
They are compatible with water, weak acid/alkali solutions, non‑corrosive liquids, and similar media
